I Understand That Therapy Is A Financial Commitment.

It’s Also A Place For You To Experience Growth And Healing In A Way That Can Change Your Life.

Therapy Fee

The initial intake session with Priscilla is $175 for the Initial Intake Session. All ongoing sessions are $150 for each 55-minute session (In-person and online rates). I accept cash, checks, HSA cards, and all major credit cards

Insurance

Do you accept insurance? Yes. At this time, I accept the following:

ACCEPTED INSURANCE FOR CALIFORNIA

  • Aetna

  • Cigna

  • United Healthcare | Optum

ACCEPTED INSURANCE FOR IDAHO

  • Aetna

  • Cigna

  • Regence BlueShield of Idaho

Please verify your health insurance coverage when you arrange your first visit.

If I am not on your specific insurance panels, I can offer you a Statement of Services (superbill) for OON. Ultimately, you are responsible for payment at the time of service, regardless of whether your insurance company reimburses you. I encourage you to contact your insurance provider and obtain information regarding your benefits if you intend to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider. I can provide you with an Insurance Benefit(s) Questionnaire form. A note about insurance: The benefit of not using your insurance is that your psychotherapy treatment is entirely your own and confidential. You and I will determine it with no restrictions from your insurance company. In addition, a mental health diagnosis will not have to be added to your permanent health records.

Consultation

Is there a free initial consultation? Yes, I offer a free 10-minute consultation. This is designed to determine whether we are a good match before moving forward and whether we can help you. If not, I will refer you to someone who can best meet your needs.

Scheduling

Typically, we will set up a regular day and time to meet weekly or biweekly. I offer therapy appointments in my Ventura office and via Telehealth (online).

How much will it cost to receive services?

The cost of services depends on several factors, including your provider’s fee, frequency of services, and duration of treatment. You can receive an estimate of service costs as described below.

As of January 1, 2022, under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, healthcare providers, and healthcare facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Ensure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider and any other provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute it.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
